About H1B Levels

H1B Levels is an independent data tool for people navigating the H-1B process: OPT students looking for their first sponsoring employer, H1B holders planning a transfer, and anyone trying to understand the 2026 wage-weighted lottery.

What we built

• A fast, mobile-first search over certified H1B Labor Condition Application (LCA) salaries.
• A wage level calculator that maps your job, location, and offer to the four OEWS prevailing wage levels.
• A lottery odds simulator for the wage-weighted selection rule effective February 27, 2026.
• Company, occupation, and city pages with filing history, level distributions, and trends.

Where the data comes from

All salary and filing data comes from U.S. Department of Labor, Office of Foreign Labor Certification (OFLC) quarterly disclosure files. Wage level thresholds are derived from BLS Occupational Employment and Wage Statistics (OEWS). We refresh the database every quarter as new files are published.
